I go out... and after yesterday.... my body realizes... and my mind... Holy shit! it's summer! I set my mind to just do a nice fun 20 miles. just have fun..... and I know a nice route... not hard on the body... just 20 miles...

So, there is this regular 35-40 MPH descent I do on most of my rides. But like most times when a cyclist is doing 40, it pissed drivers off. But this has nothing to do with it... I'm descending, Truck Pulls past me in my lane, he does a great job of giving me space.... Of course... Why pass me when I'm doing 5 MPH over the speed limit, and we are coming to a stoplight in less than a mile....

Suddenly out of the left lane, this shit bag pulls out in front of the truck, from damn near a stop. The truck Locks up his brakes, and I do to... at fucking 40 MPH.....

I'm Shitting, cause quickly I may have to decide to take the chance of going over the bars or... hitting a Truck....

Fortunately they all speed up and things mello....

So a mile up there is the light, and it's cars 7 deep waiting for it to turn..... Thank god we were all in a hurry.

Well... I take the opportunity to pull past mr Dumb ass who almost cost me my life!

"You are kind of an Idiot, aren't you!" As I pull forward... I noticed his junky car has the rear window rolled down, apparently the window doesn't work and no A.C.

Well I know that as the cars in his left lane pull forward, as I sit in between the through lane and the Turn. SO, either there is going to be a confrontation or he is going to shove his tail between his legs.

so, as he pulls up to turn, he has to lean back in the drivers seat so he can yell out the window...

Something like "Fuck you Asshole, bla bla bla the light...... somehow it's not my fault I almost killed you ...... and the guy behind me."......

the guy in the truck who he also tried to kill, Lays on his horn like nobodies business..... Oh... I guess you forgot about the other person you tried to kill.....

AND HOW THE FUCK IS IT OTHER PEOPLE'S FAULT WHEN YOU TRIED TO KILL THEM!!!!

so... he put his tail between his legs and drove away....

How do some of you people get drivers licences...

If I had a cycling team... I would name it the fruit and berry snatchers... I was out and noticed that there were all these squashed ripe fruit on the road and had to circle back to take a little mid ride feed, on some Mulberries... those are the sort of bitter berries that grow on the trees, go from red to black and are edible... this reminds me that the cherries must be coming on, then apricots, peaches, apples... then fall.

I also had my first run in with some charming family coming out of church... who tried to kill me....

Is it that church is so bad, that you just want to get the hell home... and that is why all the bad driving.... or is it that your head is with all the celestial bodies and on the planet Kolob...

I am literally 50%/50% on people who have tried to kill me Normal drivers vs. people in schoolZones and churches...

Trying to figure out

But after that I was reminded about my continued goal of the perfect Western/rocky Mountain Risotto...

So... I tried it tonight... and

Last time I did sort of a Ham and Pea.... with a little Spicy spicy....

this time I decided to try sort of a Mexican..... Taco... kind of Beef and sausage, and Cheddar.... With a significant "Spicy Spicy"

What A fucking Disaster!!!

Maybe some other time.... but a Taco Risotto is not the right path....

Next up... I'm thinking sort of a Ham Cheddar Pepper....

I may have to look at some recipes...

Little ride report

I'm trying to get as many miles in as I can..... and good news, instead of about 2 miles of base... I think I have about 4 or maybe even 5 now....

I've been doing the thing I absolutely hate... which is riding the Parkway some of the time..... For those who don't remember, I'm Philosophically opposed to road bikes on the parkway, since speeds above 5 mph are dangerous.....

But hey... you need to see hot Runner Ass somehow.....
and you can't quite call what I'm doing "road biking"

Now that we are progressing to 150 degree days.... but it is still too cold to ride at 5am.....

It was nice yesterday.. and after 4 or 200 weeks of rain, I forget... It's bound to be 200 degrees very soon. I'm looking forward to morning rides....

I did manage to out ride a couple of weekend warrior girls.... I felt bad... seemed like one of those chauvinist things.. but there is that ladder ... Outride the tragicly out of shape, and the guys who lost their drivers license to a DUI, Then faster than the Mountain bikes. Then faster than the strong Mountain bikes, and the slow girls..... then the fast girls and the weekend warriors....
Then fit with the "Elite Core Scum bags" who can't stand to go slower than anyone else.....

then it's all about riding faster than Turbo and Sleevie.....

So.... I'm trying to do some Cheering up of those Economically worried... I guess that even includes me....

but, besides a short term scare... Which of course your place of employment may decide to axe just a few more workers....

overall... it's bound to get Less Scary and we can muddle properly, and thing can shake out as they need to.

Honestly your biggest concern is if the company you work for is in Massive debt and still has yet to "Deal with the implications of trying to roll over large amounts of debt."

My point is... for the most part... the worst is over.... Unless of course some crazy shit happens like... Hitler taking over Germany.. or other such unmanageable events.

Ok... so I may have hit that one... sure there was a little fake out before my market high...

SO... I hate to keep doing this..... because I think I'm doing it for my EGO!

And.... I could still be wrong....

But.... Unfortunately we are in a Bear market.... Stocks will be shunned for 10 years minimum....

which suggests that overall .... Long term, they are a steal right now over a 30 year span.. Though maybe a little toppy in a 6 month to 1 year... time frame..

But... My Models say that the market is going to take a dip here... between now and November...

I'm not saying from now till November... just there will be a significant dip .. .and that is when you put the big money to work....

but there also will be a sort of MUDDLE... where the Economic data is Uneven and it drives traders Mad!!! and then Finally they Give up again..... That will be the next big dive.......

BUT IF I were buying a home.... I would look to lock in a Loan in the 4.5% range..... YOU HAVE TO LOCK IT IN...... and right now you are getting 5.5%... which is very high..... in relative terms...


There are those that would disagree with me... but.... I tend to be a bit of a contrarian... and 4% is big return on a 10 year in this environment of global instability.... etc....

but after that dip back into the 4% range... this fall, that might be your last chance for a 4% mortgage.

of course taking financial advice from me... could be a mistake...

but THEY NEED YOU TO BUY A HOUSE... and that will go on for some time.... Housing doesn't rebound like the market does.... and there is and will continue to be an oversupply
