China has been stocking up pre-olympics... The supply demand story is very tight... as the prices show... and with all our SUV's we have screwed ourselves.. oh wait,,, I don't drive an SUV, I have a bike mostly.

in the tight supply demand, this increased demand has placed a huge premium on gas, in a very sensitive time in our economy...

I'll suspect that with people not driving as much with $4.00 gas, and some moderating demand in foreign markets, prices should "Stabilize"... and hopefully we start building Lighter more efficient forms of transportation.

But as that Asshole Bush takes credit for dropping prices when Seasonally oil prices moderate in this time frame. Milton Friedman, suggests that when there is a "Crisis" you take advantage it to allow business to push through unfavorable Policies.
